Keeping Warm with Artisan Handmade - Three for Thursday

As everyone knows, winter definitely arrived last week with extreme bone chilling, record breaking temperatures in a huge swath of the United States.  Except . . . (I almost hate to say this) . . . in the Desert Southwest. I won’t even mention the weather we got to enjoy while watching news features of people bundled up head to toe while trying to find and dig out their cards from under several inches of snow.  My husband and I lived in Canada for a few years and got to experience those sub-Arctic temperatures first hand . and . all . the . shovelling . of . snow. Been there, done that! I’ll take our sunny desert winters anytime these days.

But the cold (or lack thereof depending on where you live) got me thinking about how to stay warm, either in the extreme cold or in the just a bit chilly.  I decided this week’s Three for Thursday would highlight stylish artisan handmade sweater, gloves, shawls, etc. Some are perfect for those frigid temperatures and some are to help keep that Desert Southwest chill off.  The artists featured in Keeping Warm with Artisan Handmade are: Pamela of MagdaleneKnits; Cathy of CraftingMemories1; and Andrea of Andrea Designs. I hope you enjoy the beauties shared in this post. Maybe one will make its way into your shopping cart and be put to good use!
